Cut-off Times
A time limit will be established at each of the checkpoints. Those athletes who exceed it must hand in their bib to the control, withdraw from the race and follow the instructions of those in charge. The cut-off times shown include the transition times. If an athlete finishes a segment before the established cut-off time, the remaining time will be added to the next segment.

FAQs
Below you will find frequently asked questions from our users that may be useful to solve any doubts you may have personally.
General questions
How are you guys? Without you there is no triathlon. In other words, we want you to be in perfect shape to arrive at the end of the season.
100x100Half is a triathlon circuit. You can find different modalities depending on the venue you choose: Half, Aquabike, Olympic and Sprint. In 2024, the circuit consists of 6 venues.
The dates for the 2024 edition are:
14 April 100x100 Half L'Escala
18 and 19 May 100x100 Half Empuriabrava
22 September 100x100 Half El Vendrell
6 October 100x100 Half Platja d'Aro
13 October 100x100 Half Estartit
20 October 100x100 Half Sitges
Yeah. At each distance there are specific cutting times for each segment.
- SWIM: 25 min (Sprint) 45 min (Olympic and Aquabike M) 60 min (Half and Aquabike L)
- BIKE: 45 min (Sprint) 1h min (Olympic and Aquabike M) 3h 30min (Half and Aquabike L)
- RUN: 35 min (Sprint) 1h 10 min (Olympic) 2h 30 min (Half)
If you do the first segment If you run a shorter time, you accumulate the remaining time for the rest of the race. Please note that there is a maximum time for each distance.
For the SPRINT distance, 1h 45min.
For the OLYMPIC distance, 3h 25min.
For the HALF distance, 7h
For the AQUABIKE M distance, 2h 15min
For the AQUABIKE L distance, 4h 30min
If you exceed the cut-off time, your triathlon is over. We strongly recommend that you adjust the choice of modality to your real options. Nobody likes to be eliminated, especially when it requires effort, but the stopwatch does not lie and puts everyone in their place.
It is a good modality to start in triathlon. 750 meters (SWIM) 20 kms (BIKE) and 5 kms (RUN)
It is a modality that requires some preparation. 1500 meters (SWIM) 40 kms (BIKE) and 10 kms (RUN)
This is what is popularly known as medium distance. 1900 meters (SWIM) 90 kms (BIKE) and 21 kms (RUN)
It is a recently created modality in which the running segment is eliminated. The distances to be covered are the same as the Olympic or Half modality. We have divided the modality into two distances: L (Half) and M (Olympic)
The minimum age is set at 12 years for the Sprint modality, 16 for Olympic or Aquabike M and 18 years for Half or Aquabike L.
It's very easy. From the registration section, you choose the location and the distance and in less than two minutes you will have completed the registration process.
As a member of a club, you do not have a discount. If the person in charge or representative of your club contacts us, we can provide them with a code and, from that moment on, you will have a discount (unless you do not speak to that person)
You can change the venue, modality and owner, as long as you respect the deadlines: Change of venue, 7 days in advance Change of participant, 3 days in advance Change of modality, 2 days in advance You must notify us using the contact form on the website.
Well, no. The management fees include all these changes. You will only pay the difference if you change to a modality that has a higher cost. Going from Olympic to Half (for example)
As far as possible, we will try to maintain the options for purchases of material made through the registration form. If this is not possible, the option of exchange or refund will be offered.
No. Changes must be requested through the contact form.
Yes, cancellation and refund of the registration fee is permitted as long as you comply with the deadlines described in the regulations.
Administration fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
You will be able to transfer your registration to another venue in the same year. If the cancellation occurs during the last race of the year, this will be extended until the first race of the following year. This is explained in the regulations, section CANCELLATIONS.
Yes. You enter your personal area, identify yourself as a club and you will have access to all the registered members who have participated with the name of your club and their Tripoints balances. With a single payment, you can register all of them.
This is the name we have given to the points system that rewards your loyalty. For every €10 spent, you get 1 Tripoint. When you sign up, you will be given the option to pay with cash or with your Tripoint balance. Each Tripoint is worth €1. If you do not have enough Tripoints to pay for the registration, you will only pay the difference (with the card). They do not expire, so you can accumulate Tripoints to infinity and beyond. In addition, you will earn Tripoints if you improve your position in your races compared to last year. You can check your balance and all your registrations in the Personal Space that you can access with your ID. You will find it located on the home page of the website, at the top right...the "little man" symbol.
Well, just by participating in any of the modalities, you are already competing in the INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE (Half, Olympic, Sprint or the Aquabikes). If you also participate with a club name, you are still in the INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE, but you participate as a club in the CLUBS LEAGUE, this time only in the Olympic and Sprint modalities. At the same time, you also participate in the CLUBS PARTICIPATION CUP. You can see the status of all this in the COMPETITIONS section. The rules that regulate and define the prizes for each competition can be found in the regulations.
Yes, of course. The management fees include accident insurance for each participant, so it is not necessary to be a member of a federation to participate in any of our events.
We have replaced the technical briefing with the triathlete's guide. The guide is a downloadable document available at all times on the website and can be consulted at any time. It is usually available on the Thursday before the race and contains the latest details of the race.
Don't worry, you're not disqualified. The only thing that happens is that due to European regulations, we have the notorious cookies that do not allow you to see the updated content of the website.
If you access the content again, this time from a private or hidden window, the notice for you to accept the cookies will appear again and the latest version of the content will load. You can also do this on other websites, and we will not charge you for this "trick".
We keep the race programme updated continuously, so you can find there both the timetable and the location of the race number collection. (Remember about cookies)
Yes, your proof is enough. No additional authorization is required.
The welcome pack consists of:
- A set (kit) of adhesive multi-dorsal with instructions so you know where to place each sticker.
- A bib (cannot be worn during swimming) that you must wear on your back during the cycling segment and in front during the running segment.
- A mandatory swimming cap.
- A free t-shirt in the size chosen during registration.
- And depending on the destination and the modality, you will receive an additional item of clothing.
Don't worry about it. You'll find it on race day inside the box assigned to your bib. The chip has a built-in chip holder so you don't have to do anything other than put it on your ankle. The chip number must exactly match your bib number. Otherwise, you'll be participating on behalf of someone else and giving all your effort to them. You can be generous, but... don't give your enemy a chance!!! If your chip doesn't match your bib, let our staff know at the box office so they can find a solution.
Yes, you can navigate it, view it in full screen or even change the tilt or angle of view (with the Control key) or download the .GPX file if you want.
Unless you want to participate with a gravel, mountain bike, touring bike, folding bike or electric bike, other bikes are allowed. Check the specifics in the Regulations section to avoid making a mistake.
The box is a restricted access area for triathletes only. You must have the stickers of the multi-number kit that we gave you when you picked up your race numbers correctly placed and your race number visible on the front. We may ask you for your ID to identify yourself, so bring it ready.
Since we're here and we've got everything ready, we're going to replace the swim with a run, which would turn the triathlon into a duathlon. Since unforeseen changes always cause a bit of a fuss, we've made it easy. In all the events where this situation occurs, the first run segment (the one that replaces the swim) will be half the distance of the run under normal circumstances. SPRINT: 2.5kms-20kms-2.5kms OLYMPIC: 5kms-40kms-5kms HALF: 10kms-90kms-10kms. In the AQUABIKE modalities, the competition would be considered cancelled. (See the regulations) The venue scores 66% for the club leagues.
In the 100x100Half tests, the only Rolling Stones are the Stones and they play "Satisfaction" when you reach the finish line, for the rest, the start is conventional and unique (old school).
Yes, the entire route is closed to traffic. If any section is considered neutral, it will be duly indicated.
Nooooooooo, for God's sake! If we catch you, you will be disqualified. This year we introduced a DQ ranking (Disqualified)… And you should never appear on it. If you do, it won't be by mistake.
No. If you can't hear, you can't be fully attentive to the race.
The number and quantity of refreshment stations varies depending on the venue and the modality. We define everything in the Athlete's Guide
If you have lost your chip, you have lost your race ID and your times will not be recorded. Without time recording, there is no classification and without classification there is no trophy.
Yes, that's correct. Regardless of the modality, everyone who reaches the finish line will receive a finisher's medal.
The final time for the Aquabike participants ends when they enter T2. From there, they leave their bikes in the designated place, leave the box and head towards the finish line (in the race direction) to collect their finisher medal.
Normally we would open the box once the race is over, but once again, we are going to speed up this situation as much as possible so that you can take your belongings out of the box as soon as the last cyclist finishes and access does not cause interference for the rest of the participants.
You can find them on the website, in the Results section. You will be able to immediately check both the test results and your scores in the Leagues and the Cup.
To be boring. The categories are divided into groups of 5 years, so this time you compete with those of your age. On the podium, there is only room for one...
In order to get one of the 150 trophies we give out at each race, you must be the fastest in your age group (there's no room in the display case for the second fastest) or be one of the top 5 in the category. Both for boys and girls. The trophies accumulate, because whoever comes first is also the first in their age group, don't you think?
Yes, and some more. Always at no additional cost to you. You can find them on our website, in the Photography section.
As always, we are delighted to hear from you or read your comments. You can contact us via the contact form or info@100x100half.com
