    • This is a combined endurance event that combines three sports modalities SWIM - BIKE - RUN with transitions between each modality. Participation is only allowed in the individual category. The order is as indicated and the stopwatch is not stopped from the moment of the start until the arrival of the participant at the finish line.
  2. MODALITIES
    • SPRINT: 750 mts Swimming / 20 kms Cycling / 5 kms Running
    • OLYMPIC: 1500 mts Swimming / 40 kms Cycling / 10 kms Running
    • HALF: 1900 mts Swimming / 80 to 90 kms Cycling / 20 to 21 kms Running
    • AQUABIKE. This is a combined endurance event that combines two sports modalities SWIM and BIKE with transition between each modality. Participation is only allowed in the individual category. The order is as indicated and the stopwatch is not stopped from the moment of the start until the arrival of the participant at the entrance of the box after the cycling segment. The categories are:
      • AQUABIKE M: 1500 m swimming / 40 kms cycling.
      • AQUABIKE L: 1900 mts Swimming / 80 to 90 kms Cycling.
  3. ACCEPTANCE
    • The rules of the competition are those contained in these regulations. Participation in any of the 100x100Half events implies acceptance of these rules.
  4. EXCEPTIONS
    • Competition rules may vary at the various venues to accommodate certain requirements, local ordinances or race environment. The athlete's guide for each venue will specifically address any exceptions to the competition rules.
  5. MODIFICATIONS
    • These rules were amended on 08/04/2024. The latest update includes changes to the participation modalities, SPRINT league specifications, inclusion of PLAN B, the prize table and some minor changes.
  6. PLACES
    • Each modality will be able to accommodate a maximum of 500 runners, without exceeding 2000 participants per race. The organisers reserve the right to increase or reduce the number of places. No registrations will be accepted on the day of the race.
  7. REGISTRATION
    • Participants must have correctly completed all the steps and requirements of registration. Registration does not confirm the place without the corresponding payment. Once the payment has been formalised, the registration fee will not be refunded, with some exceptions. False documentation of the data entered in the registration form will result in their deletion from the race database, with no right to a refund. The registration fee includes: participation fee, taxes, runner's bag, refreshments, race bibs, chip timing system, instant rankings, cloakroom service, finisher's medal and accident insurance. The registration fee does not include accommodation or travel expenses that the athlete may incur by participating in the race.
  8. CANCELLATIONS
    • The administration fees include the option of cancellation as long as it is justified and with a minimum of 15 calendar days before the date of the event. After this period, it will not be possible to refund the registration fee. The administration fees are NOT refundable under any circumstances. The accommodation or travel expenses that the athlete may incur by participating in the event are in no case the responsibility of the organisation, which is why they will not be covered by the organisation under any circumstances. For the admission of the justification that allows the cancellation and refund of the amount, the corresponding documentation must be presented. Any request related to this matter must be processed either through the contact form on the website or by sending an e-mail to info@100x100half.com. In the event of not being able to participate, the registration fee will not be refunded. Refunds will be made in the same form of payment that was used to formalise the registration.
  9. CHANGE OF HEADQUARTERS
    • The management fees include the option of changing the venue, provided that this takes place within the current year. The change must be notified at least 7 calendar days before the date of the event for which the participant is registered, either through the contact form on the website or by sending an email to info@100x100half.com. There is no maximum number of venue changes during the current year. No change of venue is allowed for successive years. To all intents and purposes, the participant renounces his/her registration if, once the last race of the current year has taken place, he/she has pending registrations. Any request after the deadline described above will be rejected. The change of venue cancels the cancellation option. Once the change of venue has been made, the registration cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
  10. CHANGE OF PARTICIPANT
    • The management fees include the option of changing the holder or participant. The change must be notified at least 72 hours before the start, either through the contact form on the website or by sending an email to info@100x100half.com. Any change of participant not communicated within the established deadline will result in the disqualification of the athlete (DQ) and the expulsion of both participants from the competition. Any request after the deadline will be rejected.
  11. CHANGE OF MODALITY
    • The management fees include the option to change modality. The change of modality is allowed within the venue. The change must be notified at least 48 hours before departure, either through the contact form on the website or by sending an email to info@100x100half.com. The change of modality does not allow the partial refund of the amount. If the chosen modality has an increase in the price, this must be paid. If the participant decides to change the modality at the moment of departure, he/she will be disqualified (DQ). Any request after the deadline described above will be rejected.
  12. SUMMARY CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
    • CANCELLATION: 15 calendar days before the test date.
    • CHANGE OF VENUE: 7 calendar days before the date of the event. The change of venue cancels the cancellation option.
    • ENTRANT CHANGE: 3 calendar days before the race date
    • MODALITY CHANGE: 2 calendar days before the test date
  13. EXPULSION
    • Failure to treat event staff, judges, referees, spectators or other athletes with respect, participation by falsifying registration data, repeated infringements of the rules or unsportsmanlike conduct are grounds for temporary or permanent expulsion from 100x100 Half events. Athletes with an expulsion or temporary suspension in force will not be allowed to participate in any of the brand's events until the sanction is lifted.
  14. PHYSICAL CONDITION
    • Participants, at the time of registration, declare that they are ready to take part in the event and are solely responsible for their state of fitness, as well as any medical problems that may arise. Doping is forbidden. Once the registration has been made, the athlete accepts that he/she acts, in all situations, under his/her own responsibility.
  15. RECORRIDO
    • It is the participant's responsibility to know the course of the race. Failure to follow the described course or deliberately cutting the course to gain an advantage will be considered unsporting behaviour and will result in a disqualification penalty (DQ).
  16. CATEGORIES
    • There is an absolute female category and a male category in individual modality for each of the modalities.
    • In the individual modality, sub-categories are established by age groups (G.E):
      • U24 (up to 24)
      • G.E. 25-29 (from 25 to 29 years old)
      • G.E. 30-34 (from 30 years old to 34 years old)
      • E.G. 35-39 (from 35 years old to 39)
      • G.E. 40-44 (from 40 years old to 44)
      • G.E. 45-49 (from 45 years old to 49 years old)
      • G.E. 50-54 (from 50 years old to 54)
      • E.G. 55-59 (from 55 to 59 years old)
      • G.E. 60-64 (from 60 to 64 years of age)
      • E.G. +65 (from 65 years old)
    • The age category will be determined by the age of the athlete on 31 December of the year in which the competition is held. Trophies are cumulative.
    • Trophies will be awarded to the 5 best of each gender in the absolute category and to the best of each gender in the age groups.
  17. MODIFICATION
    • The race director has the power to make the necessary modifications to ensure the safety of the participants at all times. The suspension of any of the segments due to weather conditions does not imply the suspension of the race. In the event of adverse sea conditions, the race director may modify or cancel the swim segment before the start of the race. The triathlon will be run with the application of PLAN B. In case of adverse conditions on the bike segment, the race director may modify or cancel the bike segment or part of it before the start. The triathlon will be run as an aquathlon. The organisers reserve the right to modify or cancel any of the segments for safety reasons in accordance with the provisions of Annex II of the General Traffic Regulations with regard to the traffic-related powers of the authorities (Police of the Generalitat-Mossosos d'Esquadra).
    • In any of the above cases, the triathlon would be considered as partially contested for all purposes. (A fully contested triathlon is one in which all three segments are completed).
  18. CANCELLATION
    • If, for reasons beyond the organisation's control, the entire competition or any of its modalities at a venue should be cancelled or suspended, no refund of registration fees will be made. The causes beyond the organisation's control are understood to be meteorological phenomena or of any other nature. In such a case, the event may be replaced by another venue within the same year. If the cancellation or suspension occurs in the last competition of the year, the change of venue shall be extended until the first competition of the following year. The cancellation of two sectors in any of the venues would mean the cancellation of the whole competition. The minimum requirement for the dispute of any of the modalities in any of the venues is the completion of two segments.
      1. Modification of the swimming segment. If the length of the swimming segment is modified due to meteorological phenomena (waves, temperature, visibility...), the segment will be considered valid for all purposes.
      2. Cancellation of the swimming segment. If the swimming segment has to be cancelled for safety reasons (waves, temperature, visibility, external risks...), the triathlon will be contested in PLAN B format. PLAN B replaces the swimming segment with the running segment, dividing in half the section to be contested in normal conditions. In other words, in the case of the SPRINT format, the sections would be as follows: RUN (2.5 kms) BIKE (20 Kms) RUN (2.5 kms). In the case of the OLYMPIC modality, the sections would be RUN (5 kms) BIKE (40 kms) RUN (5 kms) and in the case of the HALF modality they would be RUN (10 kms) BIKE (90 kms) RUN (10 kms). In the Aquabike modalities (M and L), the competition will be considered as cancelled.
      3. Modification of the cycling segment. If the length of the cycling segment is modified for safety reasons (visibility, flooding, accident...), the section will be considered valid for all purposes.
      4. Cancellation of the cycling segment. If the cycling segment has to be cancelled for safety reasons (visibility, flooding, accident...), the triathlon will be contested with the rest of the segments with the swim starting as normal.
      5. Modification of the running segment. If the length of the running segment is modified for safety reasons, the segment will be considered valid for all purposes.
      6. Cancellation of the running segment. If the running segment has to be cancelled for safety reasons, the triathlon will be contested with the rest of the segments with the swim starting normally.
    • As a general rule, the triathlon will be considered partially contested for all purposes if a minimum of 2 of the 3 modalities can be held, be it any of them or PLAN B is applied. In any of the above situations, the venue will be scored at 66%.

    Cause Trails Score
    No SWIM PLAN B: RUN(1/2)+BIKE+RUN(1/2) 66%
    No BIKE SWIM+RUN 66%
    No RUN SWIM+BIKE 66%
No SWIM / No BIKE Test Cancelled -
No SWIM / No RUN Test Cancelled -
No BIKE / No RUN Test Cancelled -
  19. INTERRUPTION
    • In the event of an unscheduled interruption of an individual competition after the start:
      1. Athletes who have completed at least two segments will be scored according to the position as indicated by the last available recorded data.
      2. An athlete who has not completed at least two segments will be listed in the results list as DNF (not finished).
      3. If all athletes are stopped before the end of the second segment, the competition shall be restarted, if possible. Otherwise, no results shall be recorded.
      4. If the course is laid out in laps, the segment where the interruption occurs shall be considered as contested if the first rider (leader) has passed 50% of the total distance of the segment. In the event that the interruption occurs and the 50% threshold has not been exceeded, the competition shall be restarted as soon as possible.
    • As a general rule, the triathlon will be considered partially contested for all purposes if a minimum of 2 of the 3 modalities, whatever they may be, can be held.
  20. COMPETITIONS 2024
    • The purpose of the 100x100 Half competitions 2024 is to make a ranking of athletes and clubs in the triathlon competition. The ranking will consider the categories of the different triathlon venues, both fully and partially contested (New 2024). Partially contested events will score the proportional part of the contested segments. In the case of the suspension of one of the segments and the running of the other two segments, the venue will be scored at 66% (Partially contested Triathlon). In the case of the application of PLAN B, the venue will be scored at 66% (Partially contested Triathlon). The 2024 competitions are:
      • INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE in each discipline
      • OLYMPIC CLUB LEAGUE
      • SPRINT CLUBS LEAGUE
      • CLUBS PARTICIPATION CUP
      • TRILLIGA GIRONINA
  21. INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE
    • The INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE is a competition that is disputed in each of the modalities of the events (Sprint, Olympic, Aquabike M, Aquabike L and Half) of the 6 venues. The winner is the athlete who obtains the highest score at the end of the league. A minimum of 3 qualifying events is established to validate the league. Below 3 qualifying events, the league will be considered invalid or cancelled.
    • PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: The league is open to all athletes competing in each of the venues. There is a minimum participation in two venues. The same athlete may compete in the league in two different modalities.
    • SCORING SYSTEM: The scoring system for the individual league is as follows: 100 points are awarded to the participant who completes the race in the shortest time. The successive scores in order to establish a ranking are calculated using the formula: POINTS=(Time of the best athlete / Time of the athlete) x100. The scores are calculated as soon as the participant crosses the finish line. These scores can be consulted on the race website. All the venues can be scored, and each participant can be excused in one of them, that is to say, only the best scores of each venue will be taken into account, subtracting the worst result in the total points at the end of the league.
    • INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE AWARDS: The individual league will award the league winner trophy to the athlete who has obtained the best score at the end of the league. Prizes will be awarded to the 5 best in each modality and to the three best in each category, both male and female. The prizes will be awarded in person at the end-of-season gala on 22 November at 20h at INEFC Barcelona. The awarded athletes must wear the uniform of the club for which they have competed, being a sine qua non condition to collect the prize in person. Failure to attend the trophy ceremony means that the winner renounces the award for all purposes. To delegate the collection of the prize to a third person, the prize-winner must communicate this at least 7 calendar days in advance via the contact form on the website or by sending an e-mail to info@100x100half.com.
  22. CLUB LEAGUE - OLYMPIC
    • The 100x100 Olympic CLUBS LEAGUE is a competition that takes place in all the venues, in the OLYMPIC triathlon modality. In each venue, scores are awarded and the club with the highest score at the end of the league is proclaimed the winner. A minimum of 3 qualifying events is established to validate the league. Below 3 qualifying events, the league will be considered invalid or cancelled.
In each of the venues, a trophy will be awarded to the best male and female club.
    • PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: All clubs or teams with a valid CIF or NIF can participate in the league. The same club can compete with several teams (Name Team A, Name Team B, ...). It is not allowed to change club once the competition has started. The athlete will be considered as belonging to the club with which he/she made the first registration in the OLYMPIC league. In case an athlete decides to change club once the league has started, he/she will be considered as INDEPENDENT in the rest of the OLYMPIC league competitions. In order to score in the league, a minimum participation of 4 male athletes or 3 female athletes belonging to the club is essential. The presence of the same athletes in the different venues during the league is not necessary. There is no upper limit for participants from the same club. The organisation of the league of clubs is responsible for the management of the data of the participants and may request at any time during the competition, the supporting documents corresponding to the affiliations of the participants to the clubs.
    • SCORING SYSTEM:The scoring system for the clubs is as follows: 100 points will be awarded to the club whose sum of the times of the first four classified in the race is lower. In the case of the women, the times of the three best women will be added together. The successive scores in order to establish a classification are calculated according to the formula: POINTS=(Sum of times of the best club / Sum of times of the club) x100. The scores are calculated at the moment when the last scoring participant of the club crosses the finish line. These scores can be consulted on the race website. In the event of a tie on points at the end of the league, a tie-breaker will be forced by awarding 1 extra point to the club with the highest participation during the entire league competition. If the tie persists, the club with the best partial score in the third event of the championship will be proclaimed the winner. All the venues can be scored, and each club can be excused in one of them, i.e. only the best scores of each venue will be taken into account, subtracting the worst result in the total points at the end of the league.
    • CLUBS LEAGUE PRIZES: The 100x100 Olympic Club League will award €15,000 in cash prizes to the top 5 clubs in both the men's and women's categories. No change of club is allowed once the competition has started. The athlete will be considered to belong to the club with which he/she made the first registration in the SPRINT league. In case an athlete decides to change club once the league has started, he/she will be considered as INDEPENDENT in the rest of the SPRINT league competitions. It is not necessary the presence of the same athletes in the different venues during the SPRINT league. The minimum number of participants per club is 2 athletes and there is no maximum limit for participants from the same club. The organisation of the clubs league is responsible for the management of the data of the participants and may request at any time during the competition, the supporting documents corresponding to the affiliations of the participants to the clubs.
    • SCORING SYSTEM: The scoring system for the SPRINT league is as follows: Points are awarded according to the attached table to participants belonging to clubs according to their finishing position in the overall ranking of each gender. All independent or non-club participants will be excluded from the SPRINT club league scores and will not be awarded the points corresponding to their ranking. E.g. 1st Male: Antonio Independent (no points), 2nd Male: Juan "Club SuperTrietletas" (199 points).
Each club will obtain a final score at each venue, according to the number and position of its members who have reached the finish line. Points will be awarded to the 5 best athletes of each club in the male category and to the 3 best athletes of each club in the female category.
In case of a tie on points at the end of the league, a tie-breaker will be forced by awarding 1 extra point. In case of a tie in the final classification, 1 extra point will be awarded to the club with the best score in the last race of the league. If the tie persists, the club with the best partial score in the third event of the championship will be proclaimed the winner. All the venues are eligible for points, and each club may be excused in one of them, i.e. only the best scores of each venue will be taken into account, thus subtracting the worst result in the total points at the end of the league.
